Chuck Scragg, is a Realtor®, with Atlanta Communities Real Estate Brokerage, West Cobb, and also a member of the The Cobb Association of Realtors,. Chuck has been a licensed Realtor for just seven years, but has decades of buying and selling personal homes and investment properties.
Chuck came to Atlanta Communities, because he appreciated the depth of services and support that the company offers its Associates and clients. He was also impressed with its Global presence and growth and the “customer care” philosophy of the company. Chuck also understands that like politics, all real estate is “local”, so he seeks to replicate that attitude and provide world class service to his clients.
In addition to his Georgia Real Estate License, Chuck has Bachelor of Science, a Master of Arts and a Masters of Business Administration degree. He holds many business certifications including energy management, group facilitation and is a recognized EDFP, economic development financial professional.
While Chuck is a resident of Northeast Paulding County he has four years experience in selling Saint Simons Island, Georgia, USA. He has lived mostly in the Atlanta area during his adult life. He is originally from West Virginia and resided in Kentucky and Tennessee as well. Chuck enjoys walking and biking and playing all the beautiful golf courses in the area.
Prior to pursuing Real Estate a Real Estate License. Chuck worked as an economic development professional working to recruit business and industry to Georgia. He spent most of his career as an economic developer working for 31 years at the Georgia Power Company. There he helped locate over 170 companies to Georgia, many of them Fortune 500 firms.
After retiring from Georgia Power, he has held Interim Executive Director positions for the Brunswick-Glynn County, Ellijay-Gilmer County, and Brantley County Industrial Development Authorities. He also has held Interim positions as Interim County Manager in Long County, Brantley County and Pierce County, Georgia.
